  1. As a new reader to your Aliomenti series, and a part-time writer trying to go full time, I’m enamoured of your writing. Thank you for the past hours of getting to know your characters, your writings, and you.

    • 👎😈👿😈👿👿😈👿😈😈😈👿😜😜😜👉😜😜😜😜🍫😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎😢😢👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎😢👎😑👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👍👍👎👎👎👍👍👎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

      • I bet you must be a wanna be writer… There’s no escaping your jealousy in what you just did here…

Are you OK? Need a zanax…?

He has provided a great story, and did so as a great story teller.

  2. I am an avid reader. This series had me hooked from book no. 1.
I hope Albrink writes so much more. Note: This would be so awesome as a TV series?…..

  3. I’ve just finished reading the Book one of the Aliomenti saga. To say that I loved it doesn’t help anyone. Let’s try this instead: The pace is fast; the plots and sub-plots are reasonable and logically valid; combine the previous with a fresh and light prose and you get an excellent best-seller type of fiction.

I would recommend it without any reservations to any Sci-Fi fan that wants something to enjoy as a light reading.

It’s a difficult to put down book!

Thank you for the effort that you put into your creation.

  4. I just read A Question of Will and I literally couldn’t t put it down. I started in the late afternoon, read through supper, skipped my shower, and brought the book to bed with me and read until 3:00AM. I am 63 years old and it has been quite some time since I have read a book straight through like that. I loved it and can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

    • I just finished reading A Question of Will as well. Hooked me immediately & read straight thru. I was not ready for that last chapter to be over, nor was I ready for the book to be over! I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the books in the series! Thid one was most definitely 5 stars!

  5. I’m on book six of the series. I must say it has been wonderful reading these books. Fast paced, well plotted, imagniative sci-fi. I would recomend to anyone.

  6. First I would like to give you five stars on the Aliomenti Saga Book 1. As a prelude to the saga it’s an exciting and full story that prepares me to leap into the past-future. I want to especially express my appreciation for finishing the saga.

  7. I just started on the Aliomenti saga a couple of weeks ago. The Kindle version of the first book, “A Question of Will”, was a free offer on Amazon. I completed it in about 3 or 4 days and immediately downloaded the next book “Preserving Hope”.
Again, I found this a real page-turner, unputdownable. I’d pick it up at bed-time intending to read a chapter to unwind before going to sleep and would still be there about 5 chapters later in the small hours of the morning.
Its a new and refreshing storyline. I really liked the way it all kicked off in the first book – until about 3/4 the way through you’re wondering what’s going on, then it all starts to make sense towards the end.
The concept of an elite sect of people – kind of a cross between Highlander and Jedi – makes for a great concept.
At the end of book 1 we’re set up for a long plot/story line thats going to run through centuries.
I’m halfway through book 3 now and still enjoying it.
I just hope it doesn’t settle into “placeholding” in the middle of the series, padding towards the inevitable end (I have read a few 10 or more book series where you could skip the middle 3 or 4 books and not really miss anything).
Also, I hope it doesn’t stop when we get back to where it all started. For now (into the 3rd book) we’re learning about the past of the main plot characters. I’d like to learn what happens afterwards, in their futures too.
For now, I’m really enjoying these books. If the rest are like the first 3 then I’ll certainly be looking out for more stories by the same author.

      • Alrightie then! Finished #2 last night in 3 sittings (got interrupted by life once or twice), and I am even more anxious for the next installment. I’ve been a SciFi wonk for 62 years now and you, ALEX, have hooked me good. This journey up through the gradual growth of civilization is the most promising anticipation I’ve experienced in many, many years.

  8. Love your writing, however; since you live in Ohio- are you a Buckeye Fan? (This could be a deal breaker!) Looking forward to every next book you write

    • Depends on what you mean by fan. 🙂 I do not own any scarlet and grey jerseys, nor do I use the phrase “The Team Up North,” but I admit that I was pretty happy with the result of the first College Football Playoff.

      Are we still friends????

  9. Hi Alex. I’ve been a fan of sci-fi/fantasy for years. Your first Alomenti book was thoroughly well written and enjoyable.I look forward to reading more.

  10. SPOILER ALERT AHEAD!!!!! Love the books. I just started Preserving Will. I just have one beef. All this grief from Hope for a man she is getting ready to marry in a few years. He is not really dead and what is twenty years or so of waiting to a woman that has been alive for a thousand plus years. You would think that she would be happy that he completed his mission,he was. She knows that he is going to father her children…. Anyway thats how I see it now. Quess I will find out in the next couple of books. Keep up the great work and i look forward to reading some of your other work!

  11. after getting an offer from book but for the first 3 books, I have finished them, purchased books 4 and 5, and just now purchased book 6 (STARK CATACLYSM) for Kindle. I have been reading them on my iPad kindle app and have a hard time putting it down. I am 82 and have been reading Preserving Will (book 5) until 3 am when I finished the book. Very excellent series that keeps you wanting more. Excellent writing Alex.

  12. Alex nothing personal man . . . I hate you. No I just finished reading A Question of Will. I loved the story the pace was excellent. Tying in Angel and Fil, nice twist. I expected Will to end up getting close with Angel, I didn’t see that coming.

The problem I have is the ending. I understand it had to end some where, but there really?? I know the story continues for 6 more volumes and as time and money allow I am going to pick up volumes 4, 5, 6, and 7. Like many of the comments say I couldn’t put it down. Not a bad thing considering I’m usually up in the wee hours of the morning any way. Now I have to start on Book 2 Preserving Hope. I have to know what happens next and how the story continues. Please tell me you don’t leave Will on a raft in the middle of a rushing river bound for . . . .

  13. SPOILER ALERT TO ANY NEWBIES – THIS IS ABOUT BOOK #4, BIRTH OF THE ALLIANCE AND I’M ASKING A SPECIFIC QUESTION SO PLEASE READ NO FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN’T READ #4….

    Dear Mr. Albrinck,
THANK YOU!! I am an avid reader and truly enjoy immersing myself in full series as I feel I get an extended stay 😉 It’s not easy to find multiple books that are all so enjoyable – oftentimes a very lengthy novel can become tedious, but if all the Aliomenti/Alliance books were in one tome, there’s no question I would still be a fan. I started with the first three in a box set and have already bought the rest through to book #7. I do have a question though that is really bothering me. I’m nearing the end of book 4, Birth of the Alliance, and I cannot for the life of me figure out WHEN/HOW Hope received her own copy of the “diary”. I’ve gone back to reread the section where she tells Will that HIS copy fell out of his pants and she saw the picture of herself with her children, along with an explanation of what her mission was for the many years to come. Later there are comments about her version of the diary. But I cannot find a description noting she received HER OWN copy even though there is reference to it later. I can’t imagine I glossed over such an important plot point but my rereading and searching for the answer has been fruitless. I’ve even searched the web to see if anyone else has commented on same. I must have missed it and am embarrassed by that but I couldn’t continue without trying to find out. Rarely do I communicate via message boards, etc. If you could please point me in the right direction to the answer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your time and efforts regarding my inquiry. Thank you also for your fantastic work. Megan

    • Hi Megan!

      ***SPOILERS***

The device physically cloned itself upon sensing a specific set of circumstances — date, time, and, critically, Will being asleep. That cloned machine was the “diary” that Hope discovered. Once held by her, the device knew to display information meant for her use (including the picture of her and the children). Since the device is “speaking” to her, she understands it’s meant to be hers and keeps it. Will’s copy is still where he expects to find it when he wakes.

There’s no reference to this event at the time it happened in the story because we’re learning of the storyline from Will’s perspective. Since he was asleep, he had no idea what happened, finding out when we do as Hope relates the tale many years later.

      Hope that helps!

      • Hell yeah i had the same thought myself but thought i must have missed too thanks for clarity Alex sir and as an after note i have enjoyed all your books immensely far to A/S 7 couldn’t stop till i read them all. Now going ro start your ravager saga I hope I enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the Aleomenti saga many thanks for Your vision and imagination.

  14. Its a great series. I have absolutely no alternative but to buy book 4! Rarely does a book keep me awake reading through the night. Thanks. Its a lot of fun.

  15. I could not put the series down and can’t wait for the next books. I do have a question. What will prevent the Energy rebuilding? If I understood correctly it could be generated by living organisms. Could the trees, for instance, rebuild an energy pool?

Once again thank you for such a wonderful story. Please hurry to publish more!

    • Hi Anna!

      Thanks for the kind words!

In regard to your question: I’ll just say that there are flaws in the design of the “weapon” that mean that Aliomenti/Alliance skills could in the proper circumstances return on an individual by individual basis. In fact, this is a key subplot in Deviate (yes, it’s almost done, finally) and will feature even more prominently in episode 4 of the Ravagers series.

      Alex

  16. Can’t wait for Deviate!!! Just finished Detonate. Lots of lines and plots I am wanting to see unfold. Great work Alex.

  17. Hey Alex, just popped in to see how things are going. Seen in your last comment, book #3 going to editor. Can’t wait to read!!!

  18. Hello Alex, I am reading the first book in your box set purchased from kobo and all I can say is wow!! Just wow.. You definitely have a new fan in me, your imagination and writing skills just boggle the mind…congratulations!!!😀

  19. I have read all of the available Aliomente saga and eagerly await book 8. Was enthralled by the tale and characters. Will and Hope and all other character became alive in the writings. Each novel fleshed out more and more the characters. It was awesome following all the threads and watching them merge into a powerful saga that I just did not want to stop reading.
Reading the Ravager series and starting to realize that there were threads back to the Aliomente characters was super nice. I loved the new characters and so enjoyed how you brought all of the threads together to make another great tapestry of a story.
Roddy, Deirdre, Sheila, Micah, and all of the other characters are beautifully fleshed out. The story lines are easily understood and followed. I am only disappointed in that I now have to wait for you to complete the next novels. Thankyou for sharing your stories.

  20. Just finished Deviate and WOW! I knew the old world and the new world were tied together, you started the process of bring them to light awesomely. As the characters start to come to light, you start realizing why they are doing what they do. I like how you have given us characters we will love, those that will hate and those we are not sure of just yet. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I guess I’ll go back to reading the “In Death” series until your next one! Don’t laugh my wife got me hooked on the series.

  21. Loved the Aliomenti Saga, and have greatly enjoyed the Ravagers to date… looking forward to updates and release dates! (Is it possible to preorder through Amazon?)

Also, is there any chance that Hunting Will will be released on Kindle? I’d love to get an extra dose of awesome to tide me over until books 8 & 4, respectively, but I just don’t buy paperbacks anymore… no sense in killing the trees.

Keep up the great work, Mr. Albrinck. You are very talented, and I look forward to many more hours of mental vacation with your books!

    • Hi Gigi! Glad to hear you’ve been enjoying both series!

Pre-orders could be an option but my writing schedule tends to be too erratic to predictably know when the next book will be ready, and most retailers don’t give you an indefinite amount of pre-order time. (I know, I know, write faster and more predictably, right??? 🙂 ) So, for now, no pre-orders. If you’ve signed up for my mailing list or follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you’ll get alerts when new titles are available.

In terms of putting the ebook version of Hunting Will back on Kindle… I may do that in the near future.

      Thanks for reading!

  22. I have been a lover of speculative fiction my entire life, and I’m about to give you a compliment of the highest order. After reading through the Aliomenti Saga, and now the 3 books of the Ravagers, I can honestly say I’ve not enjoyed someone’s writing this much since Robert Heinlein, my favorite author of all time.

  23. I love the time travel piece. It’s kind of mind blowing but I look forward to seeing where the journey goes. Thanks for your imagination

  24. I have just finished the first book in the set. A most enjoyable story with a different angle on an old idea execlent work thank you for this entertaining book

  25. I just read a Question of Will. I haven’t enjoyed a book that kept me totally engrossed. I can’t wait to read the next book. where do you find the inspiration for your stories they are so believable. They make you think that anything is possible. thanks for your wonderful writing.

  26. I picked up ? of Will and loved it ! I found an ebook set of Vol 1-3 on sale … Yeah I know that you were offering them for free, but I thought it might put a little coin in your pocket. I am about half way through Preserving Hope and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the stories you have written. Thank you !

  27. This is the type of series thaat i will spend time searching for each book and will buy but not read out of sequence even if it means having a book sit on the shelf until i find the previous ones. Really good story line and great charecter developmen. Hard to put down and very easy to pick up.

  28. Great read! I have read books one, and two in the Aliomenti Saga… An avid reader, It has been a long while since I’ve read books that I was not able to put down.

Thank you for the books, impatiently waiting for Book 3 and will buy the remainder of the series.

  29. Wow! I was devastated when I finished reading the last of Asimov’s offerings, the rare ones we cannot find in bookstores! Because there would be no more to come! I loved the way his books are independent and yet tie into one congruous whole!

Then I got to download ‘A Question of Will’ – great wordplay, btw – on my Kindle for free. I often do that, deleting the book if I find it below par.

In your case, I finished that – devoured in one gulp, reading until 03:00 in the wee sma’s and immediately started on Book 2, am now through 3 and half-way into 4!

I am like this greedy child that has found a new type of delicious candy and although she knows there’s only a finite amount available, insists on greedy serial consumption of the treats!

    Can you please write faster?

Thanks for adding me to your legion of fans, the fervent, hero-worshipping ones!

    • Glad you’re enjoying the series! There are 7 Aliomenti books out at the moment so you should be in good shape for a while. 🙂

  30. Hey Alex, I started on A question of Will about a week ago and blew through all 7 books within this past week. At the end of the epilogue I got a bit confused. When you said you weren’t leaving Will and friends behind and you were starting an interconnected series . Were you speaking about the Ravagers series or the 8th book in Aliomenti? I loved the Aliomenti saga and wished you would continue on with it. I would still like to know if will or anyone from the Aliomenti will be mentioned in the Ravagers, indirectly or directly. Thank you for such amazing books, I can’t wait for Adam’s journey.

    • I was likely clumsily referring to both. Will and company don’t feature in the Ravagers, though what they’ve done (and will do!) is referenced regularly if indirectly.

There’s a lot of time between Convergence/Adam’s Journey and Activate. I have ideas. 🙂

  31. I love love love Will and the Aliomenti saga. I don’t typically read series books online since they’re just one book chopped up, but the description of A Question hooked me. You are a wonderful writer. I commonly find myself looking at typos and plot lines that make no sense and I don’t make it out of the first chapter. I just finished Ascent and I simply find myself wondering how you came up with it all. I know you’ll have me hooked until I o.d. on Will and the rest! Love what you’re doing, congratulations.

  32. Really liked the first book and am looking forward to the two free books. It is nice to read a book that is interesting and well written. I will continue to purchase from this author.

  33. Enjoyed the first book immensely. Downloaded the next two and look forward to reading them. Well written, great plot structure and character development. Keeps you guessing, throws you curves and has phenomenal character development. Recommended read!!!

  34. Devoured all 7 books in a 2 week period. Loved the story line and the characters – and if rereading the books is the only way to be with them again, then so be it. Liked them too much to lose them.
Will be looking forward to your next series. Thank you for such an enjoyable read.

  35. I have just started the series. Could not wait till the time I can start reading it again. As time permits and money, I will start on book two and continue on to book seven. This story line is the most fascinating I have ever read. I will see you in the next book.

  36. Great book series. I’m currently reading Stark Cataclysm. I had to read the “Aliomenti Saga”, as I started reading the “Ravagers series” first and I’m currently awaiting the publication of “Retaliate”.
I think I know who Mr. Light really is…
Just an idea, it would be great if your site had a timeline interconnecting both book series, though access should be only for readers who can answer a few detailed questions so no spoilers are revealed to anyone who hasn’t read either series, thus far.

  37. I am an avid sci fi reader and have been for most of my life. I am 67 and love this series. I read the first book in a day and the proceeded to buy/read the next in the series within a week or two

I am almost finished reading book six.

Of all the books so far I feel like I get bogged down in reading this one. It seems a little repetitive and confusing and I find myself going back to a former chapter for clarification.

However, that said it is one of the best series I have read in a long time. It will be one of my favorites along with the Foundation series br Asimov.

  38. Have just read A Question Of Will and have got Preserving Hope which I’m about to start reading, Cant wait to get the rest of the series Money permiting

    • Yes! It’s out there on all of the major retailers (Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Google, Barnes and Noble).

  39. most engaging, well written, creative, adventure sci-fi that I have read in years.. Love the characters, the adventure, the writing, can’t say enough just started #6…keep em coming Alex..Thank-you

  40. I had great plans for the holiday weekend involving yardwork, lots of housework, and some painting. My actual weekend involved buying book 4 of the Aliomenti series and reading it Saturday. Sunday involved buying and reading book 5. Monday was book 6. I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend!! =) I admit I did skip ahead about halfway through book 6 to the end because I had guesses about where Will Stark was and wanted to see if it was answered at the end. Lol. So glad that you didn’t leave that as a cliffhanger and it was revealed. Can’t wait to see how it all ends in book 7. I’m also looking forward to reading more from you. It’s not often that I get so pulled into a series after downloading the 1st one as a free one that I have to go buy all the others. Thank you for the awesome books!!

  41. It took me a week to get through books 1-7 of Aliomenti… wow what an experience!can’t wait to hear Adam’s story. Eva and Adam sr. His parents! That was very unexpected but the saddest was Eva being the mole and dying in the end…with no explanation on why she did what she did.. maybe part of book 8?!
I’ve stopped reading for a few days… still living with Hope, Will and the Alliance.

  42. Just read #1 in the Aliomenti Saga – really had interesting plot, a lot of things were happening and I just keep reading and reading the book.

Looking forward to reading books #2 and # in the series.

  43. Reading “Preserving Hope.” The only fly in the ointment for me is the anachronism of English being spoken in the year 1018. Otherwise it is wonderful. Thanks.

  44. OK Mr Albrinck, you have had enough time!(just kidding) Please, Please release book 8. It’s been so long that I’m going to have to re-read the series again

    • Don’t tell anyone, but there’s a rumor that book 8 is with the editor right now. But you know how rumors are…

  45. Gosh, Have I got a lot Of Reading to do, I just Finished Book 1 and now I find out Alex is going to release Book 8 !!

Wow just a great story with a few twists & turns I didn’t expect.

Got to find out were i can get Books 2 thu 7

  46. Hey Alex, I finished Adam’s Journey last week. Loved the book, it was cool seeing the story from a different perspective. Ready for the next in the ravagers saga!!!

  47. Alex, you clever writer! Your taking on the Grey Goo Doomsday scenario! GOOD GOD! Thank you! That is one of my greatest nightmares in sci-fi, and possibly soon to be non-fiction in the future. Well done!

  48. i read aliomenti series for the first time about a year ago, maybe more. I have now read it 4 times, and enjoyed it every time. I keep trying to get a friend, who doesnt read anything, to read it, it is an amazing series. Just started Ravagers impatiently waiting for the remainder of the series.

    kyle

  49. Greetings,

I’ve read the whole Aliomenti series multiple times and thoroughly enjoy that world! I recently came across Hunting Will, but cannot find a place to purchase it. Will you release it to iBooks soon or another delivery method? Many thanks!

    Logan

    • Hi Logan — Hunting Will is available in ebook format as a gift for newsletter subscribers. It is also available in paperback format.

  50. Is this the last book of the saga??
or adam’s journey is the last book.
    please clarify my doubt
    thank you in advance
    from
    your fan Aman

    • Hi Aman!

Adam’s Journey is the last book of the *FIRST* series with those characters. But I am sketching out the details of a new adventure for them, and hope to have the first book in that new series out later this year.

      Thank you for reading!
      Alex

  51. I don’t see how you get anything else done when you have so many comments. I’m on 5, and find all to be great, so far. When I finish one book I emediately buy the next one. I really like the continuity. I wonder how you keep it going through a thousand years, lol.
Anyhow I’m having a great time reading this series and trying to out guess you. No luck so far, it’s fun and the story is great. I still haven’t figgerd out why Arthur and the bad guys are still going on. It does give the story some good breaks. Keep up the good work,
Looks like we have started a long relationship.

  52. I often pick up the free books to see how they are, rarely does that pay off for me as much as this has. These are great books and are making me question my decision to buy the PS4 games I did because I now have to wait til next payday to get the last two in the series. Keep up the great work, you’ve definitely made a fan here and I’ve told all my friends about your books. Also I loosely explained the plot to my six year old today and he’s now talking about building an aliomenti world in Minecraft so I’m sure when he’s ready to read them you’ve got another fan in the wings

      • So far he’s just excavating under a mountain for his home city. He doesn’t play much because I’m on the PS4 so much lol. I’ll keep you updated though and when more starts taking shape I can let you know and you can tell me a good email to send pictures too

  53. Loving the books, please keep writing, found a little typo in ravages #3

“Delaney couldn’t rescue Sheila in a bulky metal suit so heavy that he couldn’t move, nor leave the ship inside the armor if it kept him from breathing.” Pretty sure it should read Deirdre not Sheila 😉

Happy to proof read any future books

  54. Excellent author. I do alot of reading of all kinds of si-five and this is very good. My definition of a good book is one, that when you are at the end you are disappointed that there isn’t anymore! Need to make your books 1500pages. Now,that’s a book. Keep the quality going. Thanks.

  55. I honestly think Philip K Dick (my all time favourite) have been proud to own these bodies of work.

Alex your stories excited me the same way his books always did. Ideas that are unique and always a surprise around the corner. Marvellous stuff!

  56. Hi, so I just finished book four of the Ravegers series, when will Eradicate be out, I have binge read all four books in 3 days 😳
I have also read the entire alomenti series. I apologize if I am spelling the book titles wrong lol.
Please tell me when Eradicate comes out I’m dying here!!!

  57. How did Will manage to communicate with the people of 11th Century Northern England? It’s got me baffled. Hoping to see Mr Stark in some real ethically challenging situations. Good luck

    • Hi Mark!

Well, clearly, people in England in the 11th century and people in the United States in the 21st century both speak English, so… 🙂

I get this question a lot, so I’ll explain the two parts to the question (the one you’re asking, and the one others ask about.)

First, communication is, in my mind, the ability to transmit ideas back and forth. That can include both verbal sounds and nonverbal cues (posture, facial expressions, tone of voice, etc). Telepathy, as described in the book, basically encapsulates all of that in signals that travel between the brains of those communicating, which allows people who use different spoken languages to communicate.

So when Will finds himself in a place where the inhabitants don’t speak a 21st century English dialect, he will keep his face lowered so that those he’s with don’t notice that his mouth movements don’t directly correspond with any words they hear, and will push his thoughts into the mind of the person he’s speaking with and “hear” their reply via his telepathic skills. As he becomes more familiar with the tone of a language, he might emit noise that’s at least consistent with that general tone, but those he’s around still won’t see his mouth movements not matching the words their hearing. He’s also “encouraging” them not to notice that he’s “speaking” with such an odd mannerism. In the minds of those around him, he’s speaking their language just as anyone else might.

Eventually, as he’s immersed in a location long enough, he will start to understand the spoken words well enough to communicate in a more normal manner. By the time the old North Village residents had developed the semblance of Energy skills required to know what Will was doing, he’d figured out how to talk to them in a normal fashion.

This is why everyone in the books speaks in a fairly modern dialect and with modern idioms and expressions. Our Energy-using friends “hear” words on many levels and it translates in their minds in a familiar manner. I think it’s less distracting for readers to see the “translated” dialogue only, rather than the original words followed by a translation. And for any readers who are experts in historical languages, it avoids the dissonance that would occur if my translation into the old tongue is incorrect in terms of idioms, dialect, or using the wrong variant in the wrong location.

Hope that makes some sense. Thanks for reading!

  58. I left a review of The Ravagers on Amazon. I have been a fan of sci-fi since I read the stories by Zenna’s aHenderson about The People when I was still in short trousers. I think that the Alionenti and The Ravagers are two series on equal footing with Zenna’s stories, although the world has moved on a tad since the 1940’s
Honestly, alongside EE Doc Smith, Asimov, Heinlein, with their stories of space and people, these two series are on a par with Lensman, Foundation, and I hope there is Time Enough for Love in the last Ravager book.
Thank you Alex for an outstanding read.

  59. I have one rule when it comes to books, I get them free. You Sir are such an excellent writer that I was willing to pay for yours. Impatiently waiting on the next book in the series.

  60. What can I say I love the way u incorporated history into these books.
I loved the first series so read the second just waiting in your final release now on them.
Thank you your books helped me though a bad time so I escaped to eden every time with them.i really do wish hope and wills story ends well for all as I think they have had enough low blows for more then all there life times. Ps living mitch

  61. Dear Mr. Alex,
I started with the 3 free books, I bought the rest of them. It is a TRAP LOL. The books are so amazing and the stories are so great you can not help but keep reading. I am on the last book in Aliomenti and the last book in the Ravengers. Love the way they tie together. Thank you so much for your genius writing skills. I can only compare your skills to those of the Great Robert Jordan!! Thank you so much and keep those books coming! Addicted to reading 🙂

  62. I’m enjoying the Aliomenti series, save for one glaring error which gets repeated throughout books 2 & 3, to wit, the idea of a flat earth.

Educated people had known since the time of Aristotle, 400 B.C., that the earth is spherical. It’s an absolute myth that people in the Middle Ages believed the earth to be flat.

Apart from that, keep it up.

  63. Trying to subscribe but the captcha page won’t work (mail chimp). Keep confirming I am human but apparently it doesn’t believe me even though i get the green check mark!
Have really enjoyed the Aliomenti series. Have to get some more!

  64. Well just finished book 7 now about to start Adams story I have really enjoyed reading this series and there were times I just couldn’t put it down at times I even had shed a tear as things unfolded, one question comes to mind though is what happened to Hunter Pathos how did they get him to u derstand that his expertise was no longer needed before his release into the world. Once again thank you for sharing your imagination with us in theses stories Alex

    • Hi Sheila! Thanks for the kind words. In terms of Porthos, his unique skills no longer worked, so there wasn’t a need to convince him not to use them. They aren’t much for trying to force people to be what they aren’t, so the options were to let him go or execute him, and (much to Fil’s dismay), they chose the former. Time will tell if that was the right choice.

  65. I have read all the books from Will to date now am eager to get my hands on Eradicate not long now to November I pray we see a happy ending and that some of my old favourites appear, these books inspired me to only do good. Some authors have the knack to get under your skin and Alex is one of them. It would be fun to see this and his last books as a film saga like Star Wars to see it all unfold 😀 I hope Sebastian gets his come upance at long last and a new world of peace is here, what did make me smile is Sheila didn’t know who Noah was so religion is by the by now 😏

  66. Thanks for writing those books, loving the first 3 books of aliomenti saga… but i cant find books books store.. happy to have hardcopies (books)of it. Can’t wait to read the remaining series.. 🙂

    • Paperback versions of most of them can be ordered via Amazon and Barnes & Noble. They won’t appear in physical bookstores unless… well, unless a lot of unlikely things happen, so we’ll just go with they can’t be found there. Thanks for reading!

  67. WOW. I do believe I have to agree with an earlier comment and say “Alex, I hate you.” I downloaded the Ravagers set and started reading 5 days ago. I have literally done nothing but read since (yes, 5 books in 5 days and I think I’m nearly blind from eye strain and stupid from lack of sleep)! I wish I had known to start with the Aliomenti Saga, but that’s okay, I will try to wait at least a day before starting on them! I hope will find out who Cyrus was…

  68. can’t wait to finish the kindle books I have been reading. Writing great books makes us fond of reading more. Keep it up!

  69. I will be starting my last book in the series about Adam. I’m so looking forward to it but am 😢 it’s that last book about Will, Hope, Fil, Angel and all the others. Loved every minute of every book. So damn Great!!!!!

  70. I too started by reading The Ravagers series first. For my, I think it worked out perfectly. My favorite characters were the ones that Salfie kept referring to as old friends and comrades, from very long ago. Watching the effect Will Stark had on “Sebastian” was awesome.

I can only imagine the storyboarding and timelining that you must have done on this. Did you do it all at once, in the beginning, or was it done as you wrote? If the former… DEAR GOD what dedication. If the latter… you must have been exhausted.

    • It was a bit of both. And it was definitely exhausting. But well worth it. Glad you enjoyed reading it!

  71. There are a lot of people posting about losing a lot of sleep after discovering The Aliomenti Saga and you can add me to that number. 6 down so far and 2 to go before I can close my eyes. Seriously though, I can honestly say that it has been many years since I have been so enthralled by a series of books. The quality and storylines have remained consistently high and I’ll keep on reading and try to resist the urge to start again straight away. Thank you Alex.

  72. Two awesome connected series.

I haven’t been able to put them down.
Long time since I have read until I was over-tired (eyes shutting on me while I just had to read the next chapter).

    Thank you so much.

    Keep writing!!

  73. Started reading both sagas this year and just finished. Could not stop reading, enjoyed every moment and looking forward to the next book.

In the Ravagers when did Micah tell Sheila Clarke she had eaten from the ambrosia tree and that she was now immortal.

Also when the film coming out – as I read the books I could see one in there.

    Keep writing.

    • Micah hasn’t told Sheila yet. Should be an interesting conversation at some point in the future… and there’s no guarantee that Micah will be the one to break the news. 🙂

There are millions of books out there, and tens of thousands more published each year. There are only perhaps twenty major motion pictures in this genre made each year. The math would suggest that no director/producer/studio will ever approach me about movie rights, and even lesser odds that they’d actually complete the project. But hey… I’m open to offers!

      • While a movie or a TV series would be nice I’m contempt with just the books. Movies & TV tend to screw with the story too much.

      • Hi, Love all the books. My big question is how is Sheila having children at the end of Eradicate if she ate from the Ambrosia tree?

        • In the years after the conclusion of Convergence and Adam’s Journey, research identified a method to reverse selected effects of ambrosia. It certainly would have made things simpler for the Starks if they’d figured that out sooner!

  74. So first I would like to point out that I started with the second series and I was already hooked. then I discovered the first series and it just made everything makes so much more sense. I love these books I couldnt I put them down. I finished all of both series in week!! please tell me you got something else

  75. You are a gifted stoyteller. Cant wait to share your books with my son who is as avid a reader as his mom. Thank you for great reads.

  76. I have read all the Aliomenti saga books as well as Adams Journey, the Ravagers series is a fascinating compliment to the endevours of Will Stark and blends and weaves Hope beautifully into their future , and bringing the reader almost up to date with our hero’s, but………… I feel that this particular set of stories has an epilogue, maybe even another set to come? we haven’t seen the last of Will Stark, Hope and his family????

  77. Alex, I am truly going through withdrawal and need more of Stark and friends to get me theough.
Any updates on the next book or series?

  78. Hi. Where can I buy Episode Three (Deviate) of The Ravagers in paperback? I can find episode one & two but not three? I am in the UK.
    Thank You.

  79. Have read both Aliomenti and Ravagers series. Excellent reads all around. Thank you for sharing your talents. What’s next? Please tell me there is a next?!?! You are an awesome storyteller and writer!

  80. I loved the Aliomenti Saga! It kept me reading late into the night. I wanted to leave you a great review on Amazon, but evidently didn’t qualify as a reviewer there. I can’t wait to read more of your books!

  81. I’ve enjoyed your books immensly and am almost thru the ravagers series. One thing that i find distrating in them is the number of typos. There’s even even one in the acknowledgments at the beginning of Retaliate (without YOU love and…should be without YOUR love).

Again, i love your writing but you might want to talk to your editor.

Or let some of us loyal readers look thru an advance copy to mark it up for any typos. I’d be willing.

  82. Just recently found the Alionenti Saga series, starting #5. This series reminds me of Orson Scott Card’s The Ships Of Earth series, drawing creatively from the Plan of Salvation as taught in my church.
    IMLDSRU2?
    Catherine

  83. Can we ever expect physical copies? Or would we be able to purchase the ability to make physical copies for ourselves? I love the books but cant seem to find any form of physical copies anywhere (send me a link if im just dumb) thanks 🙂

    • All of the books should be available in paperback on Amazon. Paperbacks for the Aliomenti Saga books are also available on Barnes and Noble. Thanks!

  84. I have enjoyed your books immensely. I am looking for forward to any new stories. Any idea when that may happen?

  85. Just into book 4. Will finding a cavern with a vacuum in it and a free surface of water doesn’t work. The water would boil filling the cavern with water vapor IF the cavern floor was near sea level. If the cavern is miles below sea level as stated the cavern would be filled with water. (Nature abhors a vacuum, don’t ya know?!?!). Enjoying the story just the same.

  86. This book series was unique and combined a series of sci-fi and fantasy elements that made realistic and well-written enough to be turned into a screen play. I don’t see anymore books by Alex Albrinck online, are the next books being written?

    • Very slowly. Have had a series of what might be called “life events” that have disrupted writing and broken my writing habits. I am eager to get the next series written!

  87. Love the series, have read all books in the series 2 or 3 times. I have noted in my e copies errors or questions in text printed in book 7 and some in book 8 (not finished.) I know you must have editors, but are you interested in feedback from my reading where I believe I have found some errors?

  88. I hope your life events are turning out okay.
I got hooked on your Aliomenti universe after picking up the first one free. I bought and read the rest in fairly quick succession after that.
I love what you did with Will and his “power tree”.
Now I’m in withdrawals, lol. Just wanted to drop some encouragement. As much as I’m looking forward to your next project, don’t rush it.

    • Hello Juan – Yes, I am about 80% through the first draft of the full Disruption Saga. I don’t yet have an estimated publication date. But it will happen.
