Hunting Will, A Question of Will available at Barnes and Noble, Kobo

For those who own and/or prefer eReaders besides the Kindle, I’m pleased to announce that both the Aliomenti Saga prequel, Hunting Will, and Book 1, A Question of Will, are available at both Barnes and Noble and Kobo!

One note on pricing: electronic books can, in some circumstances, be set to free.

Some sites, such as Kobo and Smashwords, allow you to do this directly. Others… make things a bit more complicated. You can set a book’s price to free on Barnes and Noble, for example, only by distributing it there through a third party(like Smashwords) that allows you to set the price to free. Otherwise, like Amazon, Barnes and Noble requires a $0.99 minimum price (and the equivalent price in other currencies).

Amazon allows books to be set free in two circumstances. First, if your book is part of their Select program (meaning it’s not available for sale anywhere else), you can set the price free for up to five days per 90 day term. You can also get the book set to free via price matching: that is, Amazon will set your price lower (even to free) if enough people report that it’s free for purchase elsewhere. Sometimes. Eventually.

So… if you’d like to read the prequel, you can get it for free in various formats at Smashwords, or on Kobo. If you want to read it right now via Amazon or Barnes and Noble, right now it’s 99 cents  because that’s the cheapest I can get it set right now. Confused yet? Ah, the wonderful world of online retail. 🙂

Thanks for following along, and enjoy reading!
